Dog & Puppy Nutrition Information

Knowing when, how much and what to feed your dog at every stage of their development is key for your family "pack" member. A nutritious diet makes for a healthy and happier dog which in turn will bring much joy and happiness to their owners.

Important Note: Please ensure your dog is not ingesting any of the following top three toxic chemicals found in some dog foods:

  1. Sodium Pentobarbital - used to euthanize dogs and found in some commercial brand dog food. Over time, toxins build up to the point of causing irreversible body damage and possible death.
  2. BHA (Butylated Hydroxyanisole), BHT (Butylated Hydroxytolulene), Ethoxyquin and Propylene Glycol - all commonly used as fat stabilizers in commercial or low grade dog foods as preservatives. BHA and BHT cause kidney and liver dysfunction while Ethoxyquin is a potential cancer-causing agent. Propylene Glycol is found in many semi-moist dog foods and causes the destruction of red blood cells.
  3. Lead - an extremely toxic heavy metal has been known to cause nervous system damage to animals when accumulated in their body.
